Have room in your heart and home to foster a Dane in need?

 

Unlike a typical shelter, our Rescue is completely foster based. We do not have a shelter or kennel where we keep our dogs. Danes are very social and people oriented dogs. Each Dane in our rescue is placed with a foster family where they are cared for and treated like a member of the family until their forever home is found.

 

We are only able to take in as many Danes as we have foster homes to place them in, so unfortunately we have to turn down Danes on a regular basis. We are always looking for local fosters that are willing to open their hearts and homes to a Dane in need. As a foster everything is provided for you; food, crate, collar, harness, tags, leash, medicine, etc. All we ask of you is to provide the love. Fostering can be a very rewarding experience and is crucial stage in the transition to a dogs forever home.
